Cleanings & Preventive Care for Kids

Prevention is the foundation of pediatric dentistry — regular cleanings, fluoride, and sealants stop small problems before they become big ones.

What's Included

Routine exams & cleanings
Fluoride treatments
Dental sealants
Nutrition & hygiene counseling

Why It Matters

Sealants protect the chewing surfaces of molars — where most childhood cavities start — typically applied as permanent molars come in around age 6 and 12. Fluoride strengthens enamel at every age. AAPD recommends cleanings roughly every six months, adjusted to each child's risk level.
